Ms. Allard established her own practice in 2008, in Carlsbad, after a 15-year career as a trial prosecutor from 1993-2008 in the San Diego County District Attorney’s where she conducted 75 jury trials and was assigned to the Family Protection Division for 7 years. This experience dovetailed in 2008 into representation of child victims in abuse lawsuits and representation of children with disabilities in administrative hearings.

In 2010, Ms. Allard developed a practice in civil elder abuse, real estate property disputes, and business disputes. Subsequently, she has brought her litigation experience into the probate and family courts in breach of fiduciary duty, civil financial elder abuse, undue influence and support and child custody matters in the superior counties of San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernadino, Sam Mateo, Santa Cruz, Monterey, Fresno and Mariposa.

While originally from Chicago and a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Ms. Allard has long ties to the San Diego and Riverside County communities as a 1983 graduate from the Academy of Our Lady of Peace and California Western School of Law in 1992. She began her working career as a medical records clerk with Palomar Hospital in 1985, a public relations intern with the San Diego Chargers in 1986 and 1987, and after graduation from the University of Notre Dame was a White House staff writer for President Ronald Reagan. After returning to Southern California in 1988 she resided in Riverside County and worked as a general assignment news reporter covering development and land use issues in Riverside County and subsequently did the same in Rancho Santa Fe before attending law school. Ms. Allard has resided in Carlsbad, California since 1977.
